Let Me Introduce Myself
Kylie Chivington, MM, MT-BC
Music has been the heartbeat of my life from the very beginning. My earliest performances began as a toddler, and that love for music has only grown deeper with time. I pursued formal training in music, earning a BA in Music History from Trinity International University and an MA in Music Therapy from Florida State University. Throughout my academic journey, I studied voice, violin, piano, and guitar, shaping a versatile foundation for my career.
Today, I’m grateful to perform in a variety of settings that continually inspire me. I sing with both the Grand Rapids Symphony Chorus & Opera Chorus, VOX GR, and Circle Theatre Grand Rapids. I serve in a multi-instrumental role at my church, have taught voice at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, and perform live music for weddings and special events. I also lead on keys and vocals with the Contemporary Christian band Anthems.
Whether on stage, in the studio, or in the classroom, my passion is connecting with people through music—creating moments that are both meaningful and memorable.

2 / Live Music for Every Moment
From joyful celebrations to meaningful farewells, I bring custom live music that fits the moment. Violin, voice, piano, and guitar—elegant or fun, personal, and always heartfelt.
Rates vary, based upon length and type of service requested. Travel fee is included for distances greater than 15 miles from Grand Rapids studio.
*Duet services (piano + instrument/voice), available upon request.

Illness
Masks are not mandatory but can be worn at the discretion/preference/request and mutual agreement between student, parent/guardians, and KylieJ Music Studio.
If you are experiencing symptoms, cancellation is preferred, and a makeup or Zoom lesson will be offered. If testing (+) & have been in contact with KylieJ Music Studio, the expectation of notification and cancellation hold.
Germs in general are easy to spread, so please be mindful of this. "Regular" bugs - if you are experiencing symptoms for flu, cold, etc. it's asked that general health practices & considerations are maintained in order to keep everyone healthy to the best of our abilities!
