Let Me Introduce Myself
Kylie Chivington, MM, MT-BC
I have been a musician my whole life.
It all began when I was a toddler - my mom would call me up to perform with her on stage. I went on to study music in both undergraduate and graduate school earning a BA in Music History from Trinity International University and a MA in Music Therapy from Florida State University. I studied voice, violin, piano, and guitar throughout both university experiences. Now, as a professional I get to perform in several capacities. You can find me singing with the Grand Rapids Symphony Choir, Opera Chorus, & VOX GR, serving in a multi-instrumental capacity at my church, teaching voice at Blue Lake FAC over the summer, leading on keys & singing with the CCM band Anthems, and providing live music for local weddings/functions.

What do you do?
An impressive amount of work goes into creating special and unique music experiences. I'm privileged to engage with people through a shared love for the arts and music. I offer a unique experience and set of skills, unlike anything you'll be offered elsewhere. Where else will you get music lessons from a Board Certified Music Therapist, trained to work with all abilities? Or where else can you find a one-woman band?!
I both perform and provide lessons in piano, violin, guitar, and a few other unique instruments. From classical, to jazz, to contemporary Christian music, I will equip you on any one of the above instruments. No one is too young, or too old, to engage creatively and learn a new language - music!
